Les laboratoires Vichy mettent en place pour la première fois un prix d’une valeur de 15 000€ qui récompensera chaque année un travail de recherche sur « peau et exposome ».
The human body is subjected to and responds to complex exposures including environmental factors, our diet, lifestyle factors, and social influences. For this highly complex interaction, the term exposome was coined by Dr. Christopher Wild at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, World Health Organization.
The VICHY EXPOSOME GRANT supported by VICHY laboratoires is intended to promote and encourage research activity to characterize the skin exposome. One Research Grant of 15 000 € will be awarded annually to a research project in the field of exposome and skin.
The research project may be fundamental or clinical. Projects focused on skin diseases will not be considered and those involving animal research are discouraged. Work may be performed at any hospital, university or other not-for-profit research institution.
Applications must be in English and include:
- the candidate’s curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages)
- a detailed description of his or her projected research
- a signed copy of the VICHY EXPOSOME GRANT conditions

The applications for the VICHY EXPOSOME GRANT will be reviewed by a jury of experts chaired by Professor Jean Krutmann (Germany) and composed of Professors Craig Elmets (USA), Haidong Kan (China), Thierry Passeron (France), Sergio Schalka (Brazil).
The awardee will be selected in September 2016. Award funding will be disbursed to the host institution. The money granted must be used to accomplish the described research project.
The deadline for applications is July 8, 2016.
All applicants will be notified that their application has been received.
Only complete electronic files will be accepted and submitted to the Grant Jury.
